One-Hour Mini Kennel Tour/Sled Dog Ride
$150 (Resort Guests: $135)
This dog sled experience will put you in the hands of an experienced musher and a well-trained team of huskies for approximately one hour (total time depends upon trail conditions). Meet the dogs, hear their unique stories, pet and receive lots of love from our four-legged staff. This experience is very hands-on, with time for discussion and questions regarding the dog breeds, husbandry, feeding and dog sled gear usage. Then you help us suit up our excited huskies and go for an approximately 20 minute ride through open fields and rolling hills. Interested participants may get an opportunity to help drive the sled - at musher's discretion, of course!
Note: Pricing is for up to two people per sled. Maximum sled capacity is three people (or 325 lbs), and there is an additional fee of $30 for the third person.
One-Hour Night Dog Sled Ride
$180 (Resort Guests: $165)
This experience begins with meeting the dogs and learning about harnessing and the commands used in dog sledding (total time depends upon trail conditions). Then, you'll pile into the sleds, and a team of excited huskies will take you on an adventure through the Nordic trails at Mount Washington Resort. You will be guided by the moon and musher headlamps, and enjoy the stars and the silhouette of the presidential range. These trails will take you through gorgeous scenery that runs along the Ammonoosuc River at the base of Mt. Washington. Terrain includes gradual inclines and declines... and a couple sharp turns just for fun! Interested participants may get an opportunity to help drive the sled - at musher's discretion, of course!
Note: Pricing is for up to two people per sled. Maximum sled capacity is three people (or 325 lbs), and there is an additional fee of $30 for the third person.
