2009/10 Seasonal Programs - Ski School

Women First Ski - NEW!

Our professional female instructors will help develop skills and strengths in a friendly and comfortable environment. With your personal needs in mind, you can improve your skiing through specialized instruction by women for women.


The minimum ability level to participate in all programs is the "green zone all-mountain skier," as described by the Bretton Woods ski school: the skier is comfortable skiing on all green trails in control, using turn shape to control speed. Bretton Woods ski school reserves the right to make final determination of participant's skiing ability and participation in the program.


All participants must have a Bretton Woods season pass or day ticket to participate in the program each day.


Program will meet Saturdays, begining January 2, 2010, ending March 13, 2010, and will start at 9:30am and end at noon each Saturday.


The program cost is $250 per person. Payment must be received by December 15, 2009.

Ski the Woods

Ski the Woods is for adults 18 and older, that ski at the same pace, with skill development as a goal. Our talented instructors will help guide you toward being your personal best. The group can choose a theme for the day or the season. We will customize a program for your group.

Skier ability will be taken into consideration to provide groups with a positive learning environment.


All participants must have a Bretton Woods season pass or day ticket to participate in the program each day.


Program will begin Saturday, January 2, 2010, ending March 13, 2010, and will start at 9:30am and end at noon each Saturday.


The program cost is $250 per person. Payment must be received by December 15, 2009.

Wiser Woods

Wiser Woods is for adults that enjoy the camaraderie of their contemporaries and the guidance of one of our experienced instructors. Open to skiers and riders ages 50+.


Wiser Woods Benefits:

Tuesdays, January 5 - March 9, 2010 and will start at 9am and end at noon each day. Participants will meet at Firside, on the upper level of the Base Lodge. Program excludes February 16, 2010.


The program cost is $100 per person.

Freestyle Team - NEW!

This program is for skiers and riders ages 6-12 that are beginning to explore freestyle. You will need to know some tricks before you enter the park. Smart Style is the safe approach to park riding. Our progressive parks are the best approach.


The minimum level of skiing to participate in this program is the ability to ski parallel on all "blue" trails at Bretton Woods. Bretton Woods ski school reserves the right to make final determination of participant's skiing ability and participation in the program.


All participants must have a Bretton Woods season pass or day ticket to participate in the program each day.


Program will meet Saturdays, begining January 2, 2010, ending March 13, 2010, and will start at 9:30am and end at 3pm each Saturday. Participants will have lunch, on their own, (unsupervised) from 12 noon to 1 PM (cost of lunch is not included).


The program cost is $350 per person. Payment must be received by December 15, 2009.

The Development Team is for children ages 4-12. This program is for aspiring racers and skiers who want to explore how far they can take their skill development.


The minimum ability level to participate in all programs is the "green zone all-mountain skier," as described by the Bretton Woods ski school: the skier is comfortable skiing on all green trails in control, using turn shape to control speed. Bretton Woods ski school reserves the right to make final determination of participant's skiing ability and participation in the program.

Rooster's Rockets Training Camp
December 28-30, 2009


The Development Team is for children ages 4-12. This three-day program is for aspiring racers and skiers who want to explore how far they can take their skill development.


The minimum level of skiing to participate in this program is the ability to ski parallel on all "blue" trails at Bretton Woods. Bretton Woods ski school reserves the right to make final determination of participant's skiing ability and participation in the program.


Camp meets at the Ski School meeting area on December 28, 2009 and runs daily thru December 30, 2009. Camp hours are 9am - noon, then a lunch break (on your own), and then meets again from 1 - 3pm.


All participants must have a Bretton Woods season pass or day ticket to participate in the program each day.


The program cost is $225 per child, and payment must be made by December 15, 2009.

Processing Fee:
Reservations are required for our popular programs and are charged in full at the time of booking, and may be made by calling 603-278-3303. There will be a $35 processing fee for any cancellations made after 4pm, two days prior to the scheduled activity, including cancellations due to inclement weather. No call or no-show the day of the activity will result in forfeit of full cost of the reserved activity. We recommend that you check the weather a couple of days prior to your reservation. Thank you for your understanding.
